Can it be?
The room is taken up by a mass of carved granite that blocks the view of the far walls but upon circling it you find that even the door through which you entered has disappeared. It’s just us and the stone.
The statue resembles a monument to some historic event though it has been so worn down as to be unrecognizable now. The exception is the inscription below it, similarly carved but perfectly legible and in plain English.
